HMEPS, as developer and manager of this Web site, is committed to protecting your confidential participant information, and making your web site visit secure. To register, you must review and agree to the HMEPS Security Agreement below. Your future use of the website acknowledges that you have read, understand, and agree to the Security Agreement Terms and Conditions.

We have taken several steps to safeguard the integrity of our communications and computing infrastructure, including but not limited to Password authentication, monitoring, and encryption. Security measures have been integrated into the design, implementation, and day-to-day operations of the entire website as part of our continuing commitment to risk management. We employ special security measures to protect your information - including Password authentication, program "time-outs," and data encryption.

The HMEPS Web site and computer systems are for legal and authorized use only. Individuals using this system without authority, or in excess of their authority, are subject to having their activities on the site monitored and recorded.

About Encryption
Encryption is the electronic "scrambling" of information. This protects information from being intercepted by a third party. HMEPS encrypts your Password in our computer system. AccessHMEPS requires the use of an Internet browser with the ability to support 128-bit encryption. You can review our Site Requirements information for additional details on optimum browser requirements and settings for our site. You’ll also find links to download a browser that will support this level of encryption.

Your Role in Security
Making sure your confidential information is secure is also an important responsibility for you. You’re responsible for ensuring your personal Password remains secure, so you should not reveal your Password to anyone. If you believe an unauthorized person has gained access to it, or if you discover unauthorized activity, you should change it immediately.

As part of good security practices, you should change your Password regularly and never walk away from your computer if you’re in the middle of a session. In addition, always use the secure Log Off when you have completed your AccessHMEPS services. You should also review our Privacy Policy for more information.

Every attempt is made to ensure the information provided is accurate and access is available at all times. However, HMEPS accepts no responsibility for problems that occur as a result of interruption, inability to access the service for any reason, or user error.

Note: These Terms and Conditions are subject to change, so check the last revised date every time you Log In, and review the Agreement if the terms have changed.
